Privacy & Security
Policies

ANSIR® has created this Privacy and Confidentiality Policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to the privacy of our participants. We pledge to protect the personal information of Website participants, subscribers and software licensees.

  • Data Gathering and Use

  • ANSIR® maintains data files on participants of the 3 Sides of You Self-Perception Profiler™. ANSIR® uses this information exclusively for statistical analysis, for psychographic and other research, for the marketing of our services, and for the development of future applications of the Profiler™, results, and knowledge acquired through the site. These data files contain all information given to us including demographics such as first name, email address, age, gender, marital status, occupation, state / province, country and zip code. We also retain your answers to the 3 Sides of You questionnaire, profile results, and the date and time. Every aspect of the questionnaire is saved for each participant and stored in a protected directory in the database of our server.
Participant information gathered on the Ansir.com and Business.Ansir.com Websites is not shared with anyone outside ANSIR® Communications. Answers to Profiler™ questions are NEVER shared with anyone outside ANSIR® Communications Inc. Registration data may be shared with others in an aggregate form for marketing. For example, 63% of ANSIR® participants are female.

  • Public and Private Information—Ansir.com

  • As a subscriber, you may return through your "myAnsir" page to review and alter your profile results, Member name, password, and any other personal or demographic information stored in your file.

ANSIR® requires a valid email address from Profiler™ participants. This is used to generate Member Name and password information for purposes of establishing a myAnsir account and notifying first-time participants of their Profiler™ results.

  • Public and Private Information—Business.Ansir.com

  • Only select ANSIR® administrators have access to the registration data of visitors to the Ansir.com site. If an individual is directed by an employer or potential employer to Business.Ansir.com to take the Self-Perception Profiler™, answers to the Profiler™ are NEVER shared with the employer.

The Member profile/data of a registrant on the Business.Ansir.com site is NOT accessible to Members of the Personal.com site, as when using occupation searches mentioned above. An individual must register separately for both sites.

Personal information belonging to registrants on the Business.Ansir.com site may be used for statistical analysis. Any personally identifying information is not used for this analysis. If an employer has directed you to this site, the employer will only have access to registration information such as occupation, name, state/province, zip code and country. The data gained from the registration data and final assessment report are to be used for the purposes represented by the employer, prior to the individual's participation.

  • Cookies

  • A cookie is a small data file that many Web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information, such as a user ID, which the site then uses to track the pages you've visited. Many users are concerned about security and privacy risks associated with cookies. Some of these concerns are based on a misunderstanding of the way that cookies work. For instance, a server can only ask the browser to store information that is already available to the server; it cannot access the user's hard disk or obtain the user's login name, e-mail address, or current directory unless the user deliberately supplies this information. Cookie data is never "executed" in any way by the client machine, so cannot be used to create viruses or destructive programs. Because each cookie is limited to 4K (name plus value combined) and each site is limited to 20 cookies, cookies cannot be used to fill up a user's disk. Although early systems had flaws in this regard, current browsers do not transmit cookies to sites other than the ones that either set the cookie or are in the domain of the site that set the cookie. So rogue sites cannot read or modify cookies from other sites.

  • ANSIR® Cookies

  • This site uses cookies for only one reason - to pass participant information from one page to another as part of the ANSIR® experience. While cookies help with the function of this site, they are never associated with anything that could be used to identify you. In keeping with our policy to respect privacy above-all, this is not a dated or permanent cookie, like other sites use. When you log-in to the Ansir.com and Business.Ansir.com Websites, the cookie is activated so you can access your own information and participate in your subscribed features. When you leave either site and shut down your browser, our cookie crumbles and disappears.

  • Security

  • To prevent outside tampering, data is stored in a protected directory in the Web server. Only key ANSIR® personnel have authority to access the information, which is treated as highly confidential. Our pledge to you is that such information will never be given to a third party.

Your log-in information is password-protected to prevent unauthorized access to your profile and subscribed or licensed accounts. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone.

  • Transactions

  • Our online order forms use Internet Secure to provide secure and encrypted transactions. Internet Secure is a corporation approved by the international banking industry, and has specialized in secure credit card transactions on the Internet since 1996. As a result, ANSIR® does not maintain subscriber's financial information. More information about Internet Secure and their privacy and security features can be found by clicking here.

  • Children's Guidelines

  • Ansir Communications Inc. is committed to the well being of children. It is our belief that the 3 Sides of You personality profile is an adult Profiler™ and beyond the intelligence and/or experience-grasp of most children. Teenagers who complete the Profiler™ are treated as any other participant with the same security measures and protection as stated above. Information from children under 13 is never knowingly collected or maintained at our Web site, and no part of our Web site is structured to attract anyone under the age of 13.

  • Choice/Opt-Out/Modify

  • Providing information to ANSIR® or any other Web site is always your choice. We also offer you the ability to modify any information you have previously provided us. ANSIR® participants of the 3 Sides of You® Profiler™ can review, modify, or remove information previously submitted by sending an email to info@ansir.com.

To better safeguard your information, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting you access to your information, or making requested changes to your information.

  • Contacting You

  • ANSIR® does not share its mailing list with anyone nor will ANSIR® contact you without your permission. It is our belief, however, that any contact or correspondence with ANSIR® generated by you constitutes permission for us to reply.
